Fail Your Way to Success

Problems my road to financial freedom

Fail Your Way to Success

Many people are scared to try something new because they are scared of failure, but any successful person knows that you have to fail your way to success!

When you fail, you learn, and you only ever really fail when you quit!

History has been littered with successful people that had previously failed, they just didn’t let that take them out of the game.

I also heard a statistic that the average millionaire has been broke on average 1-3 times before finally making it.

Have a look at this excellent infographic below that dispels a few myths about failure.

The key is to learn from failure and never give up!

The more mistakes you make, the more you learn and the quicker you reach your goals!

  1. As far as i understand, you can’t achieve success without making mistakes, if you failed you shouldn’t just give up, you have to try again and try to learn from your mistakes and follow one simple advise – don’t make same mistake twice. Great article, i especially liked those comments of famous successful people, thanks for sharing.

    • Failure is your greatest teacher Rich and life will still keep giving us the same problem until we finally heed the lesson!

      Thanks for your feedback 🙂

  2. It is true fear of failing is many people’s biggest obstacle to success, in the past I was one of those people. I was so scared of failing I was afraid to try anything if it was not a sure thing.

How do you help others learn to take risks and even if you fail is not a negative thing, I just have more faith now than in the past but how do you help others find faith?

    • The fear of failing is a very common thing, BUT this fear is something that we have learned over time, it is not something we are born with… but faith is.

Awareness, is the first step to change, then we can learn to develop our faith again.

We just have to keep working on our mindset and personal development by reading books, listening to audios, finding mentors and staying away from negative influences.

But the most important thing is to take small daily actions, keep moving forward, and never give up.

One of my mentors says that confidence comes from experience, just keep taking action!!

We can unlearn, what we have learned!!

      Thanks for your comment 🙂

  3. I really like this article so much! It is so true – we learn from our mistakes. The successful people know “what not to do!” And that is how they learned it.
The graphics are incredible! Good choice and great topic! Thanks for sharing!

    • Really glad you liked it Debbie!
Success is a learnable skill and can happen at any stage, as long as you don’t give up 🙂

  4. Thanks for the reminder that failure is only temporary – it’s so easy to see it as permanent. Think of a child learning to walk, they don’t give up after a couple of failures. There is no thought about giving up.

A name that should also be on that list of temporary failures is the man who started Kentucky Fried Chicken.

    • Yes Colonel Sanders was one man who never gave up on his dream for sure!

Thanks for your comment Henning! 🙂

  5. Hey John,
Very helpful and informative post I must say! I have a story of my own that I`d like to share. Not too long ago I decided to drop out of school much to parents shock. I never wanted a normal job so I began working online and devoting all my time to it. I was dirt broke for some time and my friends and peers made fun of me and called me a `failure`. Little did they know that a few years later i would be making 5 grand a week working 1 hour a day online. How times change.
    Cheers,
    Jose

    • That is awesome to hear Jose!

It just goes to show that you should follow your passion and live your dreams, no matter what anyone else says!!

It is great to hear how well you are doing with your online business and goes to show what is possible when you

learn the skills to earn money online!

Thanks so much for your comment, keep living the dream 🙂

  6. Hi John. Personally, I can’t see it as failure unless you quit. A baby that falls down after taking its first step hasn’t failed. It has learned a lot of valuable information that will help it to succeed – falling down hurts but isn’t too bad, mom or dad are there to support me (and so is the floor), those legs things will hold me up when I balance right, etc.

There are lessons, mistakes, learning opportunities, and stumbles. Each is a success if you learn something valuable. You only fail if you quit before achieving your goal.

    • I couldn’t agree more Ben!
I like the analogy of measure, monitor an adjust.
See what works, what didn’t, what else to do, what to keep and what to discard.
Keep measuring, monitoring and adjusting along the way, until you hit your target!
And as you say, you ONLY ever fail IF you quit!
      Thanks for your comment 🙂

  7. Really nice post John. You do have to fail your way to success in life. But the most important point is that most people fail before they begin because they don’t even try.

I can understand this perspective, but if you never try, you’ll never realize your dreams of something better. It’s OK to fail, but it’s not OK to give up.

    Cheers,
    Todd

    • Absolutely Todd!
Fear is a big thing that stops people trying in the first place, but if you don’t try then you have already failed!
      Thanks for your comment 🙂

  8. Failing your way to success is something that every great individual who is successful today constantly face.
It’s a lifestyle i think everyone who aspires to be great must live with. you don’t dwell on your failures on your way up but learn from them.
    Nice image you got there.

    • Totally agree with not dwelling on failures, but rather learning from them.

Measure, monitor and adjust is my motto!

  9. Fail Your Way To Success. That really caught my eye. And the info graphic? That was a hit.

I know of a few others who failed their ways to success.

Wasn’t Babe Ruth, the former Home Run King also the record holder for most strike outs?

Didn’t Walt Disney file bankruptcy before he hit it big?

I forget how many time Thomas Edison said he failed in his attempt to invent the electric light bulb but I believe it was in the thousands.

Somewhere I read that a successful person Fails more times than someone who quits before succeeding.

    Nice post. Thanks.

    • You are so right Jeff!

There are so many so called failures that have failed their way to success.

I like the saying that it took many many years to become an overnight success and it is so true!

      Thanks for you comment 🙂

  10. Without failure, there would be no stepping stones to success. I love this post that basically explains positivity and how it affects us every day of our lives.

This graphic is amazing and does a great job of breaking down how you can fail your way to success, literally. Excellent site and layout and I look forward to more posts like this!

    • Thanks Paul, glad you liked it!

I totally agree, without failure, there can be no success!
