How to Add a Picture in WordPress?
After you have written out a blog post you might want to add an image to make your article more visually appealing for your readers.
So how do you add a picture in WordPress?
As part of my WordPress basics series, I have created this short video below where I will walk you through this simple process:
As you can see it is a very simple process.
Below I will outline the steps again.
Step 1 – Add Media
Once you have written out your post and picked out where you want your image to go, click Add media > Upload Files > Select files and select which image you want to upload.
If you already have an image in your library you can choose one from there.
Step 2 – Add Keywords
Next, you add in your Keywords, align your picture to the left, right or in the middle, take a link out or add one in, choose the size, and then…
Step 3 – Insert into post
Then Insert your image into the blog post!
So there you have it!
That’s how easy it is to add a picture in WordPress!
