Padlock Income Review – Scam or Legit?

Padlock Income Review

NAME: Padlock Income

WEBSITE: www.padlockincome.com

OWNER: Jeremy Rush

OVERALL RANK: 2/10

PRICE: Free plus upsells

Introduction:

Padlock Income is one of the many Internet marketing opportunities that I found that was being promoted in the various “make money online” Facebook groups.

The basic premise of the Padlock Income System is in a private member area you work your way through various tasks, which is primarily joining and posting on facebook groups, and you build up a list of referrals, earn commissions, and can unlock more “padlocks” for further training.

On the landing page, the owner Jeremy Rush, says that this system will show you how he earned $64,712.04 in 2 days, WITHOUT spending any money on running a single AD… And how you can model this method 100% FREE access!

Sounds great, doesn’t it???

Pros VS Cons:

PROS:

  • A simple copy and paste method
  • Simple, easy work
  • You CAN earn some money
  • Video training tutorials
  • 70-100% affiliate commissions
  • Free account to start

CONS:

  • You are basically just spamming Facebook groups
  • You’re building up Jeremy’s list rather than your own
  • The system could shut down (like Jeremy’s last project) and you are left with nothing
  • Where do the upsells end?
  • You are learning “bad practices” that give online marketing a bad name

Product Overview

Once you sign up for a free account, you are led to the Padlock Income member area where you will receive a welcome video, followed by training tutorials, where you are lead through a series of tasks to eventually lead to the next “Padlock”

There are 12 Padlocks in total, that I would imagine are all at a greater cost to upgrade. (for example, Padlock #2 costs $10 to access)

The welcome video states that Padlock Income is designed to build you a list of people from all over the world and turn them into paying customers.

It says that you are given a “unique referral link” that sends people to a highly converting web page that adds people to your personal list and they give you a system that will teach you how to do this.

The basic premise of this “system” is to join and post on “make money online” Facebook groups, with the goal of recruiting people into the system and you will eventually receive commissions as they upgrade.

I didn’t actually get to the second Padlock, I think I got to video tutorial 21, and Jeremy was playing the same video tutorial over and again about spamming Facebook groups (sorry “posting” in Facebook groups) and I got the feeling that I was just wasting my time.

There is also an upsell to join the affiliate centre for a one-off payment of $20.

RED FLAG:

When I first entered my email, it said that I had already registered with this email address?

Of course, I hadn’t, so I entered a different email and then did a little research about Mr Rush and I discovered  that there were various “scam claims” reported previously, such as Zukal, and other “make money online” opportunities, such as MMO Cashout, Penny Matrix, DS Domination, AdhitProfits and Banners Broker.

It seems that Jeremy creates and promotes various “recruiting systems” and then when they get shut down, he moves on to the next one!

Who is it for?

People chasing the “easy money” or “get rich quick” online systems that operate on the net.

Tools and Training:

There are plenty of video training tutorials as well as some copy and paste scripts you can use as Facebook posts.

Support:

You can issue a support ticket in the member area, as well as access to a private Facebook group, Facebook page and a YouTube channel.

Price:

Free account, plus various upsells.

Summary:

Padlock Income review

So, is Padlock Income a scam or legit?

I will leave that for you to decide, but personally, I wouldn’t waste my time with it.

Can you make money?

Yes, it is possible, but in my opinion, the one making the money is Jeremy Rush himself.

To me, this is just another one of the million “systems” that people spam on the make money online Facebook groups, where the only way to make money is to recruit more and more people into the system and they then do the same thing.

I don’t believe there is an actual product here.

You are just spamming a “system” of spamming a “system”

You might make a bit of money, but this is just about the worst way to make money online and gives the industry a bad name, where they promise easy money with little effort!

Let the buyer beware!

  1. Hello John,

Thanks for the great article! The review on Padlock income is very informative and to tell you the truth. They sound like a get rich quick scam and like you said… it gives a bad name to affiliate marketers.

This is when I ask myself, when it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

I much rather work hard on my own and develop my own success than to feed these low-life with my time and potential money that I could have kept If I did my own work for myself.

    Thanks,
    Eric

  2. As someone who manages a Facebook group of 3,000+ people, I prefer value, not endless spammy posts. Thank you for your honest and detailed review, saved a lot of time for me. I’ll certainly check your other reviews as well.

  3. I am still a greenhorn when it comes to all the money making schemes out there.
It is still so confusing who to trust who is right from the get go or a scam.

Your review on the Padlock Income is very detailed and even though you don’t totally call them a scam I certainly will not touch it.

    Like I said still a greenhorn. 🙂
Glad I found your website lots of good information for me to suck up 🙂

  4. I agree that Padlock Income is a waste of time.If you are not smart and get caught up in some of these systems you will spend your time working for the creators of the products without realizing it.
Thank you for writing this post so that other individuals will be alert to these programs.

    • Yes, definitely Luna!
There are so many of these similar type of programs out there that are a waste of time at best, and rip you off at worst!
      Best to stay away!
      Thanks for commenting 🙂

  5. GREAT post! As a working mom, I have often searched ways to make money from home and I am always so overwhelmed trying to decide what is legit and what isn’t!

I am so thankful for reviews like this because it helps me make better decisions and know what to look for! Reviews like this ARE actually what lead me to WA which has been very rewarding for me!

    Thanks again for sharing!

    • Glad that it helps Abby, and good to hear that you have found Wealthy Affiliate as well, you certainly won’t go wrong with their program!

      Best of luck 🙂

  6. This is so funny, it shows why it’s good to read first before clicking on catchy videos. The Jeremy guy that made $64k in 2 days video is very catchy but soon realised that we are busy building Jeremy’s list…lol

I can’t stop laughing because of the video marketing Jeremy uses, I actually went on the site, entered my email but got no password, so I had to enter yet another email, then I received a password to log in.

Getting in, after watching Jeremy’s youtube video, he said wait till the end and click on a link to come in yet again, but the link never appeared for me to click. Trust people to leave funny comments on youtube about this clip.

Then I wondered to myself, while still waiting for the link that never showed up, how much deeper and how many more clips do I have to watch before Jeremy talks to me about the Padlock income.?

The struggle is real. Stick to what you know guys:)

    • It’s funny, because I signed up with some guys link and in the member area, it says that Jeremy is my sponsor!

I wonder how often this happens?

There is a lot of dodgy stuff going on with this program, in my opinion it’s not worth spending time on!

Thanks for sharing you experience Excelle 🙂

  7. Hi John,
This is a good review about the Padlock program, though you say it is not a scam…I think it can be called a scam when only one person is profiting from it!
What i don’t understand, is how did you get from Padlock program to the Wealthy Affiliate?
I was quite confused as you did not mention anything about Wealthy Affiliate throughout your post?
    Cheers,
    Orion

    • Good point Orion, I should of suggested that Wealthy Affiliate was my number one recommendation and tied that in better!

I will edit the post, so if you are reading this in future, you will wonder what we are talking about, lol 😉

Thanks for your feedback and your point about the scam is well justified 🙂
