- The author does get a bit down on the traditional education system at times, BUT he does make some good points.
Overview
Robert Kiyosaki tells an entertaining and educational story of growing up in Hawaii where he essentially had two Dad’s: One was his real dad, who was a hard working but poor teacher, and his best friend’s Dad, who was a rich entrepreneur and businessman.
Eventually Kiyosaki was mentored by his “rich dad” and followed in his footsteps to become an entrepreneur himself.
Kiyosaki explains how the poor and middle class work for money, where the rich have their money work for them.
Who is it for?
Anybody that wants to improve their finances and increase their wealth, as well as any budding entrepreneurs.
I personally believe that everybody should read this book!
Summary
Personally, Rich Dad Poor Dad is one of the best books I have ever read, and reading it was a totally paradigm shifting experience for myself.
While I was reading this book, I had what I can only describe as an epiphany… and it totally changed the way I had previously thought about money and investing.
Rich Dad Poor Dad has led me on a journey of personal growth and becoming financially fluent.
If I had never read this book, I believe that I would never have started my online business and created this website.
I can honestly not recommend this book more highly, and in the words of Ian “Molly” Meldrum, “do yourself a favour” AND read this book!
