What is your niche?
One of the biggest keys to making money online with affiliate and online marketing is to target a niche market.
If you are new to internet marketing you may never of heard of the word “niche” and may be saying to yourself “What the hell is a niche!”
So What The Hell Is a Niche?
One of the reasons I believe that just about anybody can make a success of an online business is that everybody has certain interests, hobbies or specialised knowledge that may be of benefit to someone else.
That is all that a niche is… just a certain segment of the market.
You might have a knack for gardening, know all the best travel destinations or have a special skill for raising children.
There are literally millions of different niches that you may have an interest in, or have some specialised knowledge, that you can then build a successful online business around.
This is the great advantage of of an online business.
You are not competing with the big conglomerates or multi-nationals.
You are marketing to a specific segment of the market in which you have real interest or passion in!
I like to think of a niche as just a group of people, or a particular audience with a specific interest.
How Do I Choose My Niche?
As I said before, start with your interests.
Start brainstorming some ideas on your passions, things that you love and have some knowledge about.
Another great tip is to think of what sort of problems that people have that you may have a solution for.

There are literally millions of niches that you can choose from.
Come up with two or three possibilities, then decide on one.
