Whingers, whiners and complainers

Whingers, whiners, and complainers

“Liar, liar, pants on fire!”

“All of this make money online stuff is a scam!”

“Stop spamming me!”

“You are delusional and ignorant!”
The latest was: “Kiss my money making a..”
These are just some of the emails I have received about my marketing.
Another recent one was: “I came here to learn but you’re just trying to sell me stuff!”
Shock horror!!

You have subscribed to my blog about how to make money and build a business online, and are surprised that I am actually offering something to buy!

Sorry for trying to eat today!
 Whingers, whiners and complainers
I was listening to a podcast recently from one of my mentors Russell Brunson and he was saying how mad he gets about people that subscribe to his list to learn about marketing… and THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT HIM MARKETING!
Whingers, whiners and complainers!
Honestly, I think I am doing something right!
At least I’m getting a reaction.
Dan Kennedy says that if you’re not pissing someone off by lunch time then you’re not marketing hard enough!
The truth is that it used to worry me what people thought.
But I wasn’t making any money!
Now I honestly kind of like it!
The thing is I’m not spamming anybody. (Like all the Viagra emails I get ;-))
If you no longer want to receive my emails then feel free to click the unsubscribe button at the bottom.
Or click exit on my blog post or video, it’s not going to bother me.
The fact is that if your willing, I offer a lot of free training on how to build a business online, and improve your mindset and money management… and I plan on offering, even more, value over the next 12 months.
So if I offer a product for $17, $97, or $1997, then my conscious is clear!
I only offer something, or promote someone that I know, CAN help you!

BUT ONLY IF YOU APPLY IT AND WORK AT IT!
One thing I don’t promote is “get rich quick”
Whingers, whiners and complainers
Only the scammers and spammers promote that rubbish!
And the whingers, whiners and complainers will fall into this trap and continue to whinge, and whine and complain.
And get nowhere!
At the end of the day, building a business online takes time, work, learning new skills… and eventually an investment in yourself!
And to be successful you will probably end up pissing a few people off.
You won’t please everybody, all of the time, so don’t even try.
Find your own voice and message, and build a tribe of YOUR people!
No whingers, whiners or complainers required!
If you have any questions or comments feel free to leave them below.

  1. I just love it when someone asks me for help or advice and then they argue with me or complain when I give it to them. Some people just don’t want to work for anything anymore. They keep looking for a get rich quick scheme, which as we know, doesn’t exist. I guess they’ll just keep getting ripped off until they figure out they have to work for success.
So, how did Russell Brunson become your mentor, and can you give me more information on him?

    • I think that a lot of people want success to fall into their lap and not put in the work Gary.
Russell mentions that if you just watch the process of how he does his marketing, like the copy and how he structures his upsells and writes his emails etc. rather than complaining, you will learn so much more!
He teaches that you should model what works and not re-invent the wheel.
It is funny, that I have known about him for a while, but it is only recently that I have really been following his advice and implementing his strategies, and as a result, my results have skyrocketed.
There is some free training you will get a lot out of if you are interested: Affiliate marketing Bootcamp.
      Thanks for commenting 🙂

  2. Love your honesty and I only can agree with you in what you saying.
I was too, in the beginning, when starting marketing a bit timid even shy to promote my business, myself, which is my business being a Life Coach.

Now, I got over it but I have to agree it took me a while to achieve. LOL
There will be always whiners and complainers nothing each one of us can do about it. 🙂

    • Thanks for your feedback Sylvia!
It is certainly hard to put yourself out there and be criticised for sure, but unless you do, you can’t help anyone.
Not everyone will agree with you, but as I said, you can’t please everybody, so be yourself and speak to “your people”

  3. Awesome post but very interesting, The thing is that we can’t worry about people because what you are trying to do in this business is to get something to them, put something in their hands that will improve their lives.
What people need to understand is that in life this is the way it is, they can expect to get everything free, life does not work that way. I believe that those who complains when you are trying to help is not serious at all because success does comes at a price and that is sacrifice and $$$$$$$. Thanks again for sharing.

    • Love your attitude, Norman!
At the end of the day, everything comes with a price… whether it’s money or time!
You just have to work out if your willing to pay it!
      Thanks for your feedback 🙂

  4. You raised a very interesting point here, I believe that there are 2 sides to both cases though. Sometimes someone claiming to give advice is only doing it for the money, he/she probably doesn’t know shit but seems to act like an expert giving advice. The other side to it is that someone is following a really experienced person, when that person gives out advice he/she doesn’t understand it or does not put it into action, therefore calling that person a scam.

    • There is always two sides to the coin Lucas.

From my perspective it is always about that persons perspective.

There are a lot of scams online and many people will put everything in that category.

But when you have a shift in your own mindset, it can completely change how you view things.

A few years ago, I would have labelled all of this bull shit… but now when I see see someone have that perspective, I realise that they are simply unaware.

Sometimes though, I like to call it out!

And some people will get it… and some won’t!

      Thanks for your feedback 🙂

  5. Awesome article, it made me laugh!
People are pretty silly sometimes, they ask for something and when you give it to them its all of a sudden not what they wanted. Now you’re the bad guy? No, I don’t think so.
People certainly need to evaluate what they want and what they are truly willing to do in order to have what they want.

Thanks for this, it made my day a little bit brighter.

    -Sam

    • Glad you liked it Sam, and I am glad I made you laugh! 😉

It was meant to be a bit of a rant, but tongue-in-cheek as well!

It all boils down to perspective, as I just mentioned to Lucas’s comment… but I definitely like your “take” on it! 🙂

  6. Boy they are all over aren’t they, the “its free for me” tribe. I haven’t met anyone yet, that can tell me where they come from, I suspect faulty training. Nothing is ever truly free, at least that is what I learned. A man does what he can to earn a living for him and his family. As long as it is legal, quit your bitching I say.

    • Thanks James.

There is a lot of good free info and training out there, and from my perspective, I like to take that free training, and if it resonates, there comes a point when you have to invest in your own education.

Sometimes that works out and sometimes it doesn’t.

But, the fact remains the same… if you want get somewhere, you have to invest eventually.

As Obi Wan Kenobi wisely says: “It all comes down to your own certain point of view”

      Thanks for your feedback 🙂
