How to start a business with little money?
So you want to start a business, but you know that starting a business costs money… and you don’t have money!
So how DO you start a business with little money?
Maybe you want to start a traditional business like a franchise, or maybe you want to open a coffee shop or a small thrift store?
You know it’s going to take a lot of money in startup costs.
First there are the franchise fees, the cost to lease the premises, the cost of the equipment and stock.
Then there are advertising and marketing costs, not to mention lawyer fees for all the legalities.
And what about staff?
It really takes a small fortune just to open the doors of a traditional business, and what if nobody even comes through those doors?
To open a traditional business it takes an enormous amount of capital and risk, and you have to wonder if it is really worth it?
After all, are you not just buying yourself another job?
Only in this job you are working 24/7, 365 days a year!
There has to be a better way?
Start your business online
Unless you want to take out a huge loan, the only real answer is to start your business online.
So why would you want to start your business online you ask?
Here are five reasons:
- Low start up costs ( Little money)
Starting your business online doesn’t require you to have to rent a premises, buy stock, hire staff, pay huge franchise fees or anything like that.
All you really need is a laptop and an Internet connection and you are on your way.
In fact you could probably just start with a smart phone or an Ipad.
This is why an online business is often referred to as “the cheapest place to fail”
You are not going to go bankrupt starting a business online.
- You can start part-time
You don’t necessarily have to give up your day job to start your business online.
You can start in your spare time and build the business up.
Once your business starts to grow, then you can transition out of the work-force and into your business on a full-time basis.
- You can work from anywhere, at anytime
As there is no office or set workplace, you can work on your Internet business from the comfort of your own home, or anywhere else with an Internet connection.
I have personally worked on my own online business while sitting by a pool in tropical Bali, and also while enjoying a pint at my local pub!
You can even work on your business online while having a Latte at that coffee shop you thought about buying… while you watch the owner working his tail off!
- You have customers all over the world
Back to my coffee shop example… they can only service customers in the local area, or maybe the tourist trade.
But with your online business, you can reach millions and millions of customers from all over the world that you can market to 24/7, 365 days a year… and you don’t have to personally be there!
- You can set your business up to be automated (True time FREEDOM!)
You can put systems in place so that your business can run all day, every day on auto-pilot, so that you are not working all the time.
With a traditional business this is just not possible.
Creating a business online is a true freedom business.
You can automate your sales and marketing, and create residual and passive income streams, that will lead to both TIME and FINANCIAL FREEDOM!
In summary
Don’t get me wrong, creating a business online takes a lot of hard work, especially initially.
But the work you do at the start, eventually creates a snowball effect, and builds momentum over time.
And eventually it will give you both the time and financial freedom, to do what you really want with your life.
And I think you will find that you will still want to spend a lot of time on your business, because most of all… It is Fun!!
But at least you will have that choice.
