  1. Hey there,
These are some great and inspirational quotes from Warren Buffett. He’s such a motivational individual and I hope to get success as he’s got. Thanks for sharing this awesome content. I have some quotes from here I’d like to stick on my fridge as a daily reminder of what I need to accomplish to succeed on my goals. Cheers!

    • You won’t go wrong following Buffett’s rules of investing Carlos!

      Thanks for your feedback 🙂

  2. “buy a business don’t rent stocks”

That is the truth, something I picked up early on when I read the intelligent investor. You do not buy stocks, you need to buy the business. Ever since then, ever stock I have ever purchases has always been because that is the type of business I would like to be in. So no, I do not own stock from companies, but I am part owner of transportation, health solutions, and tech companies.

Really warren buffet has some real brilliance and needs to be mimicked until we are just as free.

    • You’ve hit the nail on the head there Kurtis!

  5. Hey John
Warren Buffet does subscribe to a philosophy in life that I agree with mostly. Do you have a favorite quote of his that you live your life by?
He seems to have an old school wisdom that is lacking in investors lately. Greedy and in to much of a hurry to prove themselves.

    • Thanks Keith!

I like a lot of his quotes and and his philosophy to investing in general, but the one I love most is: “Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful.”

I have found this very true and I have made the mistake of being fearful and losing money, when I have should have done the opposite.

I certainly won’t make that mistake again 😉

  6. Some great quotes here especially ‘never test the river with both feet’ great stuff! But I must admit I’ve not heard of this man Warrent Buffett, perhaps I need to get out more!
Even so, I have a daughter who owns a book shop and she is always looking for unusual books, especially at christmas time when sales are at their best.
I will be telling her about this book even though there’s a good possibility she has it in stock. If she has, she can get one for me for Christmas! Thanks for the review. Ches

    • Thanks Ches, yes take a risk, but don’t risk it all 🙂

If you are interested in investing ( and everyone SHOULD be ) then I would definitely read one of his books.

If you are going to follow investing advice, then you might as well follow the best!

      Thanks for your comment 🙂

  7. Agree with you, Warrn Buffet is the one of the topmost influencer when it comes to finance, investment, business and management.
We all get inspiration from his quotes. His quotes are precise, reflects the hardship and come from his whole life experience. We are lucky that we are learning from his experience.
How do you think, we can absorb and practice his teaching and experience in our life? Sometimes some of the things that he did, sound impracticable.

    • Thanks for your comment!

The biggest lesson I personally take from Buffett, is that slow and steady wins the race.

He doesn’t look for a quick buck, or a get rich quick scheme.

He looks for something with great fundamentals, that will give the best result over the long-term.

Using this method towards an online business, I believe that Wealthy Affiliate has all the criteria that he would be looking for to build a successful business online that will be a success for many years to come!

      Thanks again 🙂
