How To Face Reality – The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

Choice my road to financial freedom

While everyones reality in life is different, there are certain realities that hold true for everyone.

There are actually three realities, that no matter what our circumstance remain the same for all!

THE THREE REALITIES OF LIFEreality my road to financial freedom

1. Life is difficult

There is no quick and easy way!

Life is hard!

No matter what we do in life, there are always going to be problems, challenges and obstacles that are going to get in our way and try to stop us from achieving our goals, if we let them!

However society in general tries to give us the opposite view, in that things should be easy and is always portraying a quick fix for all of life’s dramas!

Understand this… There is no quick and easy way!

Everything worth having in life requires work and effort!

2. Life is difficult for everyone

You are not alone!!

Even though sometimes it feels like you are the only one that is having a hard time with things, it is important to remember that everyone else has problems!

They face the same difficulties and challenges as you do and everyone else does.

You are not Robinson Crusoe!!

3. Life is more difficult for some than others

We have to face reality: Life is more difficult for some people than others.

You may have faced greater challenges than me, or fewer.

Life isn’t easy and it isn’t fair, your life might be going great right now, or it could be difficult, but the sooner we realise this,we will be stronger and more easily be ready for what is coming towards us!

DON’T MAKE THINGS HARDER FOR YOURSELFChoice my road to financial freedom

The reality is, there are always going to be problems and challenges in life.

You will always have failures and setbacks.

I heard someone say once that the only person without problems, was in a Cemetery!!

So if you wake up one day with no problems, you better pinch your self, because you might not be alive!!

The point is you can either, complain, blame and play the role of the victim and make things more hard for yourself OR accept these realities as a part of life and get on with it, face your problems and challenges head on and NEVER GIVE UP!!!

What is your choice?

  1. Hey, John

You’re sure right about life because it does consist of the the good, the bad and the ugly. We have to take life as it comes and there maybe times when there’s certain aspects that we can’t control.

I always tell people to focus on the things that they can control and live life on their terms, the way they want instead of living how others want them too.

We are only on this earth once, so people need to start living, not just existing.

    • You are so right Neil, I couldn’t agree more!

The only thing we can truly control in life is our own reactions.

      Thank you for your feedback!

  2. I choose to face my problems head on! This is how a person grow. Blaming others do not help you in anyway and it just create a form of habit to push blame to someone else whenever something bad happen, you will never be successful in anything if you do that.

To people who are having troubles, think of it as a learning process and keep fighting on! Remember that you are never alone.

    Cheers

    • Absolutely Jack!

Once you start to take responsibility for your own life, and stop blaming others, that is your first step to a greater life!!

  3. Yes life is hard but it is up to you to decide on how hard you want to make it. Work is needed in any part of it and if you’re not willing to put in the work then don’t expect to get anywhere. Thanks for the post John, and nice name by the way.

  4. Hi! Thanks for sharing this! It really puts things in perspective to remember that we are not alone in our trials in life. I also like the thought of the only person not having problems being in the cemetery! What a good reminder for the hard days.

    • Thanks for your comment Kelly!

It is hard to remember sometimes that we all have our problems, it is how we deal with them that counts!
