Product Overview:

Free Leads System is marketed as being able to give you endless free leads on autopilot.

It is actually the lead magnet for the Power Lead System which runs like an MLM but marketed online.

You don’t actually get any free leads, but you do get a marketing system that does have the potential to get you leads and make you a lot of money.

But how do you get these free leads you ask?

Well essentially it is by spamming your link all over the place.

Some of the training recommends that you spam your link into 120-150 Facebook groups a day, as well as to other places such as Twitter and other social media sites.

The whole system is run like an MLM (Multi-level or Network Marketing) and the more money you pay into the upsells, and the more people you can recruit into “the system”, and the more they pay… then the more money you can make!

Upsell #1 – Lead Lightning

With the free lead system, every second lead that you get comes onto your list, where the other lead goes to your sponsor.

This problem is solved however, with a one time payment of $7 dollars to upgrade to Lead Lightning!

Lead Lightning will allow you to keep ALL of you leads, and also give you a commission of $6 dollars for every $7 dollar sale of the Lead Lightning system.

One good thing is that with the autoresponder email series that Lead Lightning provides, it can also promote ANY other offer that you want to promote as well.

Upsell #2 – Silver Membership

Silver membership will cost you $29.97 per month and will give you $15 dollar commissions.

Free Leads System

Upsell #3 – Gold membership

The Gold membership is actually the Power Lead System and the Rolls Royce of this marketing funnel, and it will cost you $53.97 dollars per month.

You can access and create your own lead capture and sales pages as well as sales funnels and Google Hangout pages.

Every person you recruit into this system pays you a $20 per month residual commission, but you can also earn commissions with your downline and upline as well, just like other similar MLM structures.

There is a potential to earn exponential residual commissions as well as unlocking daily $100 – $400 bonus commissions.

Free Lead System Review

Who is it for?

I don’t mean to be harsh, but really this is for someone that is too lazy to learn the real skills to making money online and just wants to earn some easy money with a push button system.

It can work for someone who is time poor and wants to make some residual income online.

Tools and Training:

You have a done for you marketing funnel with an autoresponder and marketing materials.

There are some training videos and weekly Google hangouts with replays.

There is a frequently asked questions page, a support button and a private Facebook group for support.

Free with upsells up to $53 per month.

There is a potential to earn a lot of money when you start buying into the upsells, but do you actually get free leads?

No, I don’t think so.

You do however, get a system that you can market that can get you leads.

Personally, I find the whole thing a bit too spammy for my liking, and just spamming your link all over social media is not really my idea of building an online business.

But in full disclosure, I did pay the seven bucks to upgrade to Lead Lightning so I might make a few commissions.

Generally I find that these push button systems make more money for someone else than they will for you, and your time would be better off spent building something worthwhile online, rather than just spamming a “system”

    • Thanks, Shane, I totally agree with you about having a sales process!
It seems that you are promoting ClickFunnels.
I already use their software and they are awesome for sure, but thanks anyway 🙂

  1. Great review.just a pity I bought the leads lighting system already now what?I also just joined WA.looks and I just want to succeed but without help it is to hard.should of saw your site earlier.

    • Hindsight is a wonderful thing Duane, but it is what you do NOW that is important.
You said you have joined Wealthy Affiliate, so my advice would be to follow the training there.
In WA you will find all the tools, training and support that you will need to build a successful online business!
      Best of luck 🙂

  2. I don’t mind sharing a link here or there and that is just once in a while. I don’t endorse spamming your links all over the place. It makes you come off as unprofessional and people tend to not take you seriously.

  3. Hi John,
Good post on Free Lead system, there are so many of these types of spammy you get this if you do that with upsells all over the place.

One could hurt your own reputation joining that, anyway, you have put it in perspective, good review.

  4. Hey John,
For me, the whole program lost appeal when you said the training advised you to create 150 to 200 links on facebook groups and twitter. Not only does it look scrupulous, honestly I believe it is a waste of time. Even if you do manage to create up to 200 links each day, the chances of a quality lead are slim and thus the whole exercise pointless.

I would rather depend on SEO to gain new visitors and utilize lead magnets for lead generation.

In my opinion, Wealthy Affiliate is the best all in one package available and suits the beginners as well as the seasoned marketers and you do not receive such ineffective training there.

    • Yeah me too Josh! He then went on about Twitter and saying to follow as many people as you can and then spam it all over Twitter as well, but he had hit a follow limit of 5000 people but only had 1000 people following him.
It didn’t seem to register that only the 1000 following would see all his links.
I know as marketers we use social media to market, but it has to be a give and take “social” relationship… not just follow and spam.
Anyway I have had my rant!!
I just think there are more ethical ways to make money online and this way is not the way to do it!
      Thanks for your comment 🙂

  5. Hi there John,

Thank you kindly for this article/review, really appreciated.

I had heard of this product/system and was curiously interested in it, hey what does nt spark a budding webpreneur’s interest more that the possibility of leads for free, considering the amount we (I) spend on advertsing on various social networks.

It’s the old adage.If.it looks too good to be true..it probably is!
do you have some advice on how to maximise my advertising efforts and lower my CPC?

    • Yes Derek, as online marketers we all want more leads so they pray on our weakness! Ha ha 😉

Seriously though, I have had some success with Facebook AD’s, but it is a steep learning curve.

The key is to really drill down on who is your target market, or Avatar as they refer to it.

This makes the process a lot easier.

Other methods such as Pay per click and Solo Ads are something I will be exploring further in the next 12 months.

      Thanks for your comment 🙂

  6. Hi there. This is a good review of Free Lead System. I have come across many MLM companies like that but this one sounds kinda expensive. I would not pay monthly up to 50 something bucks. Also, the way MLM works is very different from affiliate marketinf work. They use the law of probability instead of SEO in affiliate marketing. Both ways take hardwork but it would go with SEO because at least I learn something new everyday from doing research and writing my content. Thanks for sharing sir!

    • Hi Kien, thanks for your comment!

I agree with you about the differences with MLM and affiliate marketing.

Learning the skills of SEO and being able to get your content ranked by the search engines for free is really the foundation of a successful online affiliate marketing business that will stand the test of time.

Where as with MLM, it really is more about recruiting more and more people into that same system.

Affiliate marketing all the way for me! 🙂

  7. I personally have no interest in MLMs, but thought I would look into Free Lead System. However, I got a bad feeling after watching their videos. I get the feeling they overpromise and under deliver. The presentations seemed unprofessional too. They were actually drinking and coughing. You mentioned the tools that were offered, but I am just wondering what you think of them.

    • Ha ha! It must of been someone different than the guy I went into it with! I would of been put off straight away!

Yeah, I don’t really like the MLM structure, I would much prefer the direct selling component of affiliate marketing where you suggest a product and if a sale is made you make a commission.

With this structure you have downlines, uplines, etc, and sometimes you don’t know where you are making the money from, or if you are just making it for someone else!

As for the tools, I would say the autoresponder sequence and sales pages are pretty good, but nothing that elaborate that you couldn’t put it together yourself, but it is one advantage I guess for having a “done for you” system.

  8. Ah the free leads method, I built a few hundred when I first started in IM and had no idea, what it all meant,
but I joined and every lead I got I would get the second one.. which wasn’t too bad, but then I learned the trick and gave up the idea as a bad joke,
too much time trying to build others leads instead of my own. So I went with solo ads which grew my list to 70k in the first five years. The beauty about the solo ads are these are targeted leads which you’re looking for.

Thanks for talking about this subject I know a lot of newbies tend to jump on the first train they get…

    • Yeah, I think the free lead system will really only help the person that sponsored you in the first place, and that’s why I paid the $7 for lead lightning, I figured I may as well make a few bucks out of it myself! 😉

As for solo ads, I have really only just started looking at this option, as it does come a time in your online business that you will want to scale it up with some paid traffic. And well done, it sounds like you have had some real success in this area.

Thanks for your comment and sharing your experiences 🙂

  9. I guess Free Leads is another one of those things out there that takes a lot of work. I personally don’t like the idea of spamming the link to hundreds of places and if a lot of the members are doing that, don’t you think it will create a bad reputation. I would be interested to hear how you make out with it and how much time you put into it?

    • That’s the issue I have with it Dennis! It still takes work, even though it is marketed as a “viral” system that gets you free leads on auto-pilot!

You still have to actually get your own leads by going out and spamming your link all over the place and recruiting other people into that same system!

Sure you can buy leads, and they suggest that method as well, but that is still the same as in any other business!

Also, I do think that it could very well hurt your reputation, and I really don’t think I will be putting a lot of time into it.

From what I see from these Facebook groups, there are a million and one of these same types of programs that are all doing the same thing as “Free Leads”.

Personally, I think I will see more leads from this review which I wrote in an hour, using the best practices of building an online business, than I will from hours, days and weeks spent spamming social media!

      Thanks for your comment 🙂
